Your account

We store your email address and a salted password hash to sign you in. Session identifiers are kept in your device's Keychain or Keystore and in our database, and expire after 30 days. Habita does not verify that you own the email address.

Room photos and designs

Photos are uploaded only after you agree. Before storage we remove location and other metadata and reduce the image size. Photos, projects, briefs and generated designs are stored with your account in a private database and private file storage hosted by Railway in the EU (Netherlands). Drafts and Build Mode progress are also saved on your device.

AI processing

When you ask for a design, your brief and photo are sent through OpenRouter to AI model providers to plan and draw the design. To find shop candidates, your brief, city, country and currency (not your photo) are used to search public web pages. These providers may process data outside your country. Generated designs can be wrong and do not prove sizes, colours or availability.

Subscriptions

Apple and Google process store payments. We do not receive your card details. We store your subscription status, period and store transaction identifiers to check your access, and count the designs you use each month.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while your account exists. You can request deletion at any time; we delete your account, photos and designs within 30 days. Minimal billing records may remain where needed for purchase verification, refunds, tax and fraud prevention. Store subscriptions must be cancelled separately with Apple or Google.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data and object to processing, and you can contact your data protection authority. See Smicolon's privacy policy for details.
